that way first . I just think that if you work on a group of songs at one period in time , you ’ re going to have themes that will draw it all together . Therefore , why not make an album because it ’ s going to tell a story anyway ? I like making albums . I know that some people don ’ t sit and listen to the whole thing , but at least they exist in the ether , and even on the streaming services , you can listen to a whole album . You don ’ t have to own the physical copy , but at least it exists in concept , and that is meaningful to me .
is Sylvia Plath because of how she used the sounds of her words as well as the meaning of the words . That was a big revelation to me when I first started reading her work , the daringness of the subject matter and then also the way she organized the consonants and the vowels . It was like magic to me , like I was listening to a kind of verbal percussion which I just found really powerful .

I ’ m curious what advice you might give to younger singer songwriters who are just starting out . My advice would be to really figure out what you have to say that ’ s different from other people .
