With new songs , a handpicked band , and candlelit surroundings , the stage is set for a pleasant and atmospheric evening .
Christine Sandtorv ’ s previous merits include writing pop songs in English with the band Ephemera and releasing four children ’ s albums . This evening she turns up with brand new songs , this time in Norwegian , accompanied by some of Bergen ’ s finest musicians .
She still puts emphasis on a well-made tune , but at times it gets even sorer , more intimate , and more tranquil than before . Through poetic observations of the simple , yet so complicated life , Christine Sandtorv & Band welcome us to a concert where we might calm down a notch or two and take time to spot the blue in between clouds .
