4-H TABLE SETTING CONTEST Superintendents – Lavon Stark and Nancy Amos
Centerton Connects EHC will award $ 10 for Best of Show in each age division
Rules: 1. Table Settings must be put into place on September 20 between 10:00 and 2:00. 2. Must be picked up on Sunday, September 28th 1:00 – 3:00 p. m. 3. Must be a Cloverbud( age 5-8) Junior( age 9-13) or Senior( 14-19) 4-H member. 4. Each exhibit must have a theme( birthday, holiday, football party, etc.) and a suitable menu. Menu and theme should be written or typed and placed with the table setting( frame, etc).
5. All items to be used for table setting and arrangements are to be brought and set up at one time. Lightweight items should be taped down.
6. Participants will be provided a 24” x 24” table space for each setting. Only one place setting will be allowed on each table. Participants are required to furnish their own tablecloths, mats, china, flatware, glassware, etc. 7. Participants will be the ONLY persons allowed in the table setting area. 8. No coaching of participants by adults or other youth will permitted during the time that the exhibit is being set up or judged. 9. All exhibits will be placed in a roped off area. However, the fair association cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages to property. 10. Table settings should not have been used in previous fairs. 11. The following score sheet will be used:
