Nomination / Entry Fee : $ 8.00 per head - $ 8.00 per entry * All swine must enter online at : https :// bentonar . fairwire . com by May 31 , 2024 Tagging June 1st 8 to 10 at the fairgrounds Arrive Sunday , Sept . 22nd from 3-5pm or Monday Sept . 23rd from 7am-12pm Weigh-In Tuesday , Sept . 24th 11am-12pm
1 . Commercial gilts or any gilt that is crossbreed or purebred that is ineligible for the breed show may be entered .
2 . All exhibitors must be an ACTIVE Benton County 4-H of FFA member in Good Standing at the time of nomination / entry as well as time of the fair , by entering any projects in the Benton County Fair in Arkansas , you acknowledge that you have not and will not exhibit any projects ( livestock , crafts , canned goods , etc .) in any county fair in this calendar year .
3 . Junior exhibitors will be limited to two ( 2 ) entries in the Commercial Gilt Show .
4 . Gilts must be owned by exhibitor by July 1 of the showing year .
5 . Grand and Reserve Market Hog not eligible for Commercial Gilt Show .
6 . Commercial Gilt Weight is 170-290 . Weight breaks will be split by weight .
Swine Showmanship 1 . Clover bud - All exhibitors 5-8 years of age 2 . Junior - All exhibitors 9-11 years of age 3 . Intermediate - All exhibitors 12-13 years of age 4 . Senior - All exhibitors 14 years of age or older There will be no restriction on previous winners in either class
8 & under and Junior Purebred Show

Arrive Sunday , Sept . 22nd from 3-5pm or Monday Sept . 23rd from 7am-12pm
1 . All animals must be owned by exhibitor at time of entry on May 31 , all entries must have ear notch #, age , breed , and sex .
2 . All exhibitors must contact superintendent by June 1 , 2024 , with registration number . Registration papers must be presented to superintendent at weigh-in .
3 . Only pigs farrowed in January , February , March , April , and May will be eligible for competition .
4 . A breed show must have a minimum of three ( 3 ) entries shown to be an official show , if there are not three entries in that breed , they will show in an AOB class . 5 . Show 1 : will be all exhibitors 8 & under Show 2 : will be all exhibitors 9 & up
