throughout the entire fair week . Pens and surrounding areas must be cleaned daily and kept clean throughout the day .
12 . Grooming : Artificial coloring , paint and powder are not permitted for use in the market , commercial , or breeding goat shows .
13 . Stall Assignments : Stalls are assigned by the goat superintendents based on the number of market , commercial , and breeding goat entries and space available . a ) Single entries may be penned together , Exhibitors should expect two goats per pen . Exhibitors may have to pen 3 goats to a pen . Exhibitors must provide their own partitions . b ) If you are bringing fewer goats than you originally entered , please contact department superintendents as soon as possible so that stall assignments may be adjusted accordingly prior to the beginning of the fair . 14 . No Substitutions will be allowed in the market , commercial , or breeding goat shows . 15 . All exhibitors are subject to on farm inspections to verify information . All exhibitors agree to accommodate to such inspections .
Meat Goat Section 1 : Market Goats 1 . All meat goat general rules and General Livestock rules apply . 2 . Market goats will be shown by weight . 3 . Market goats must weigh a minimum of 50lbs at the time of weigh-in . There is no maximum weight . 4 . All market goats must have baby teeth ( indicator of age being under one year ) at the time of weigh-in . 5 . Each Jr . Exhibitor is limited to three ( 3 ) market goats . Each Cloverbud exhibitor is limited to one ( 1 ) market goat . 6 . Does shown in the market show are NOT eligible for the Breeding Doe Show .
Meat Goat Section 2 : Commercial Does 1 . All meat goat general rules and General Livestock rules apply . 2 . Commercial does will be shown by weight . 3 . Commercial does must weigh a minimum of 50lbs at the time of weigh-in . There is no maximum weight . 4 . All commercial does must have baby teeth ( indicator of age being under one year ) at the time of weigh-in . 5 . Each Jr Exhibitor is limited to two ( 2 ) commercial does . Each Cloverbud exhibitor is limited to one ( 1 ) commercial doe . 6 . Does shown in the commercial doe show are NOT eligible for the
Breeding Doe Show .
7 . Cloverbud and Junior Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Market Goats will not be eligible for the Commercial Doe Show . 8 . No bucks or wethers in this show .
Meat Goat Section 3 : Breeding Does 1 . All meat goat general rules and General Livestock rules apply . 2 . Registration : All does must have registration papers in the exhibitor ’ s name for thirty ( 30 ) days prior to the show .
3 . Identification : All official registry tattoos will be required on all animals .
4 . Breeding Does will be shown by age in the following Classes : a ) Jr . Does ( 0-12 months ) at the time of the show . b ) Yearling Does ( 12-24 months ) at the time of the show . c ) Senior Does ( 24 + months ) at the time of the show .
