A few years ago, a man by the name of Steven Kreg was watching TV one night. He happened to be watching “The Apprentice”, the show on NBC with Donald Trump, AKA, “The Donald”, helping people become good business. It wasn't personal. It was just business. Steven said to himself, "If he could do it, I could do it too!" He asked a handful of people including myself if I would be interested in participating in a game based on “The Apprentice”. I said yes. A bit later, I was there with a handful of others, trying to understand what the Apprentice was. Eventually, the first winner, PrinceofHeart, was chosen as the winner of the Apprentice. I can't remember how well I did. Think I got fired in the 3rd or 4th task. Anyway, the Apprentice or Associate as it is called now has flourished. It is currently in its 22nd season. Those who win the Associate are granted status by becoming a member of the board for three seasons or more. There's also a group of individuals who have gone beyond the call of duty for The Associate. These people are called Associate Fellows. To be eligible, they can't be on the board at the time. There's usually a new Associate Fellow added every other season or so. I am one of those selected few to be on an Associate Fellow for these reasons. First of all, I've played the most seasons (7). I've never made it past fourth place. Second of all, I'm an Associate Fellow for what I do. I'm the official press agent for the Associate. I usually go to the meetings on Sunday (That's when they usually are), and write down what happened at the meeting. I then post it to my blog as an Associate News Reel.

As each season ends, a new one is about to begin. With each new season, new prospects and even some who have played in previous seasons begin the long journey which usually lasts two months. There will be surprises, upsets, even things that will shock people, but eventually, the best of the best will make it to the individual stage where they will face off to see who makes it to the finale. Those who do recruit the new recruits for the next season for their final task. When a task is given by Steven Kreg, the recruits will have one to two weeks to complete the task. Each team will have a project manager or PM. This person is in charge of the team and must be able to help make decisions quickly. This is one reason why the game has so much pressure and yet can be enjoyable if the player tries their best. In the next edition, I will explain what the basic tasks are and how they are so common in RLC, because they are. If you want more information on how the game goes, go to my blog. You'll find out everything you need to know about the Associate. Thanks for reading. See you soon.
