Wednesday night, in Las Vegas, Britney Spears stood up for herself at her show, when someone in the audience called her a “fat bitch.” Show critics were there and said that all she does is walk around like a robot, but what do you expect when Britney has been dancing all of her life so yes, her legs and body are not going to be the same from when she first started out at the age of 17. Do you think Britney had all the right to say that to an audience member?
This has me surprised, when you read this one PLEASE try not to go “oh that’s dumb” or the ultimate “this woman is trying to get her 15 minutes of fame” because I am pretty sure myself that is exactly what happened here. Kuwaiti woman SUES Disney for stealing an idea from her. Frozen came out almost TWO YEARS ago and it’s just NOW being brought to the media? Why did she wait so long? I have no idea but the story is this; Muneefa Abdullah claims she came up with the idea that true love conquers evil, a central theme in Frozen. Abdullah has filed a lawsuit against Disney, claiming she wrote a book called “New Fairy Tales” which contained the short story, “The Snow Princess.”
Abdullah says her story involves a princess who possesses magical ice powers that give her the ability to turn people and objects into ice, which is a plot to Frozen. She fires off a number of similarities, including the following listed here:
-A kingdom made of ice and surrounded by mountains
-A sibling in search and rescue of the sibling that possesses the magical ice powers
-A journey up the mountain, snowy guards guarding an icy castle on the mountaintop
-The idea that only love is capable of defeating evil
Abdullah wants a barrel of money, but do you think it’s a justifiable case?
Lil Wayne is being sued by his bus driver who claims the rapper was trying to kill him. According to this lawsuit Mark Jones claims he was hired to drive Wayne and crew around for his 2014 summer concert tour. Their first stop was Buffalo. Jones says he pulled over at around 11:30PM for gas, Wayne became irate and started cursing, to the point the driver became scared so he continued to drive without refueling. Jones says Wayne kept his tirade going, threatening to pistol whip him, “whip his ass” and finish the job by killing him. Mark says at that point things escalated and Wayne came at him with a gun. Cocking it at close range and demanded to get to the hotel. He obliged and the next 30 minutes of driving was in complete silence. Mark Jones is suing for false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.
