We meet up with a virtual rock & roll historian on Redlight Center.

His museum/club is called “Club Hippie Heaven Home of Rock & Roll” and can be found at vww://utherverse.vww/@76986/@477451#club%20hippie%20heaven.

The album art work on the museum walls was incredible. Every artist, group or performer from the 50s to the 70s was represented. They were all legends and powerful influences not only on the Psychedelic movement, but within Rock Music in general. Rick_SE and Silkie had a running conversation while we played virtual guitar along with some very fine musical streams.

Silkie787: ok first what is it that you would like peeps to know? Why you love this music and collect way ya do :))

Rick_SE: Well RLC is a great place and the tunes are where it is at

Silkie787: how long have you been collecting all you have here? Are some of these albums yours in real life?

Rick_SE: The music is what makes the place work. The music streams match the album cover you see on the walls.

Silkie787: you have these albums?

Rick_SE: Well, I did. I lost them in a fire 10 years ago.

Silkie787: Wow, I would die to have just one … lol

Rick_SE: I had at one time close to 1000 albums

Silkie787: OMG so sad for your loss. But you replace it this way for ALL of us to see! That is so cool, Rick!!!

Rick_SE: This work is not finished. As I research more will be going up and more musical streams will be added.

Silkie787: Rick, what was your first experience with music? Who rocked your world?

Rick_SE: jimi

Rick_SE: After that Mahogany Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Frank Zappa, Rare Earth, Santana, Joplin, The Doors, Head East, Pink Floyd and Mountain, to name just a few.

Silkie787: Wow! Rick, did you ever play or be with bands?

Rick_SE: No, but I play a little guitar, self-taught. But I did not stick with it.

Silkie787: Last question, Rick. Do you plan to promote this club… or do you ya use it more you’re your private museum for the love of music?

Rick_SE: Well, a little of both. The project is my hobby and inspiration. If others want to come and experience the history, they are welcome to come, listen to the music, dance and party.

The value of Rick_SE’s virtual museum is easy to see. “Club Hippie Heaven Home of Rock & Roll” is one man’s personal reflection on the experience that many of us from his generation and for generations to come may visit and reflect upon to cherish old memories or make new ones. It is well worth “the trip”.
