ABOUT Ben Whitmore is a Gold Coast based photographer whom shoots a combination of film and digital formats. Working with film is a unique point of difference in Ben’s work and provides the client with a look and ethereal beauty unlike anything else.

Ben has since taken that photojournalistic experience and approach into weddings and will provide a bride and groom with a timeless and beautiful collection of images to hang on their walls and a window into all those special moments that flash by on any wedding day. My approach to your wedding is to blend into the background and look for those natural and special moments that might otherwise pass you by. Expect natural images with subtle light and tones. Expect me to come prepared to tell the story of your special day without telling you how it should be told. Expect professionalism in my approach to conversing with your guests, shooting your intimate exchanges and delivering my product. H O T O G R to P your wedding the same way it It’s was told to your guests. I will use lights when the situation dictates, but don’t expect to go blind with blinking bulbs. Cliché bridal party poses! Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to all jump in the air. Heavy airbrushing. Your final images will be editing to the same style you’ve employed me for. That includes some light retouching if necessary blend makeup or clone the bruises you might have given yourself on a bucks or hens. Any further editing can be ordered at an extra cost of $35 per image. This will cover basic skin retouching and cloning. Chimping: Don’t expect me to brag and show you the back of my camera ever time I pull the shutter. You’ve employed me to shoot, not waste your time. Of course you’re welcome to look if you like.
