before my eyes.The cathedral
which so many pilgrims journeyed
to throughout the world. Our last
group photo was to be taken here.
For the rest of that day,as a way
of relaxing we all explored the city
of Santiago and contemplated the
week long journey we had finished.
To add to this we were also given a
tour of the cathedral, from a friend
of Mr Hussey. Dominic, a priest
in the cathedral,he explained to
us the history of the building and
all the nuances of its contents
and construction. We were lucky
enough to view the alleged tomb of
Saint James and explore the altar.
Numerous showcases and parades
could be seen around the city to
mark the Good Friday arrival.

would really feel the effects of
the achievement and the place

us crippled... by suspense. It took
us around a half an hour to reach
the city centre. We turned the corner
and were met we a vast opening,
hundreds of people were sitting on
the pavements looking up. I turned
my head upwards and was met with

Camino, Saint James’ cathedral It
was simply incredible. The whole
group was ecstatic. We had fulfilled
what we set out to do.The first time
