The 2017 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, is now in its 53rd year and BT in Ireland are delighted to once again be the organisers and sponsors of this great institution. Today more than ever, science, technology, engineering and maths( STEM) subjects are integral to education and career development, no matter what industry you plan to
join. Science and technology are everywhere – from sports and fashion to farming, healthcare and communications. The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition is designed to bring these subjects to life in the real world, allowing students aged 12-19 to dream, investigate, and discover new solutions to everyday problems.
Many Exhibition alumni have gone on to become successful scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs, including Limerick brothers Patrick and John Collison, whose start-up company, Stripe, has become a multi-billion dollar success story.
