The Road Safety Authority

The Road Safety Authority( RSA) is Ireland’ s primary road safety organisation and an official statutory body. Its mission is to reduce the number of deaths and injuries on Irish roads and make them safer for all users. Communicating key safety messages to road users is a vital part of our mission. We reach out to all sections of the population, to educate about road safety which includes young children all the way up to the older road user.
Further information on all the Road Safety Authority ' s educational resources can be found in the RSA ' s Educational Newsletter 2018 which can be downloaded from www. rsa. ie. You can also contact the Education Section by email at education @ rsa. ie or locall 1890 506080.

Roll over simulator.
BellTIME
Roll Over Simulator Accompanying the Interactive Unit we have our roll over simulator. This simulator continues to be highly effective in encouraging people to use safety belts. The simulator is a car body fitted to a rotating hydraulic platform. Participants sit into the simulator and experience a half or a full rotation. The‘ simulation’ demonstrates how it would feel if you were in a car which turned over in a collision, and the lifesaving benefits of wearing a seatbelt should this occur. Demonstrations using life size mannequins will also show what happens to a person when they are not wearing a seatbelt.
For more information on how to book the“ Roll Over Simulator” please go to www. rsa. ie or email shuttlebus @ rsa. ie.
