I ended up finding musicians to play the show, however two weeks before the show the bassist pulled out. as the rest of the musicians were his band members it left me without a band! I immediately started checking out musician classified ads and found an amazing guitarist, Azur Trobradovic who ended up putting together the rest of the band for me. We only had a couple rehearsals before the gig and they killed it!

Since then I have played shows in LA and even Brazil, but all using local musicians from those cities. In March of last year I was in LA doing a photoshoot at Neil Zlozower’s studio with Igor Vidyashev. Later that evening Neil invited us to his house for dinner where I met Frank Osgoode. When the time came to do the show in LA I reached out to him and he was amazing at putting together some awesome musicians to play the show.

As far as Brazil is concerned I had gone out to see one of my friends playing at a local club during Indie Music Week in Toronto. One of the bands playing, Trampa was from Brazil. I was amazed by the guitarist, Rodrigo Vegetal and introduced myself to him after they were done. we stayed in contact for several months and at one point he asked if I would be interested in playing a festival in Brazil and that he would provide the band. How could I refuse such an offer! It was an incredibly memorable opportunity to say the least!

In Toronto I have played with various musicians, although my last few shows were with basically the same group of musicians: Antonio Tari (guitar), Alberto Verissimo (guitar), Chris Riley (bass guitar) and Guilherme Crozariol on drums.

What kind of advice would you give people about achieving there dreams

Dream BIG!!!!! The only person who limits what you can do is yourself! Every year I sit and write my goals for the year and let me tell you it is crazy the things I come up with only because I don’t limit my imagination. It doesn’t matter how crazy it may sound. I only have to out it out there in the universe and it’s amazing how things come together ti make it happen. It doesn’t mean that I will achieve everything, but let me tell you that a majority of the stuff I write down I do achieve, while the others just need a matter of time and patience.
