Richon Linley was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the age of four he moved to Adrian, Michigan where he was raised by his father and grandparents. Richon is the oldest of five children. He was brought up in church and learned how to play the drums at an early age. While attending public schools, Richon dedicated his time to sports but by the time he was sixteen years old he began to crave a desire to model and act after being influenced by his favorite childhood television shows such as In Living Color and Saturday Night Live.

He began his start in the industry by taking classes at John Casablanca's and later being cast in a few short films and some music videos. As an aspiring actor Richon is planning to further his career by taking more training via workshops, private coaching, and his continuation in studying and channeling various characters that have been portrayed by different actors.
When asked what celebrity would he consider to be his role model and why...he answered:
"Kevin Hart because he has no filter. He talks about his family, he makes people laugh, and to see where he started and ended up is a motivation for me to never give up."
Words of advice for his fellow beginning actors/actresses:
"Do your research, make sure you're hungry for this and it's your passion. Get a support system that will motivate you such as friends and family who will stand behind you. And no matter how many times you get knocked down just get right back up and keep going forward."
