“ life is either a daring ADVENTURE or nothing”
I like green tea ice cream. I think Japan is the only country that has that. I dislike natto- it’ s nutritious but with a very strong odor. It also feels like eating saliva.
Japan is known for a lot of things- quality products, anime and manga, food, nature, etc. I think Japan has a very distinct culture. They tend to‘ Japanize’ everything to make it distinctly theirs.
As much as I love being in Japan, I’ m not planning to stay here forever. I still consider the Philippines as my home. I also plan to try teaching in other countries, in Eastern Europe hopefully.
My family is the one I miss most. If only I could bring them with me here I would. I can do without the Philippine food and culture. I think I can also survive even if I do not see my friends back home but I just don’ t feel completely happy without my family. It’ s like I constantly wish they were here.
What I love most about Japan is the underlying idea in their social behavior. That is, as much as possible not to inconvenience or disturb other people. It’ s about being considerate enough to let others live peacefully. I think Filipinos should learn this- that as much as they have their rights to live, others have their rights too.
