1. Switch off TV

If you do, there won’ t be much chance of you being inundated with fantastic imaginative ideas! After all you’ re only watching what others have come up with. Skipping existing projections and distractions might surprise you with projections and distractions might surprise you with your own ideas. Even better, if you take a book to help your imagination go wild.

3. Clean Out

In Oriental cultures a clear space opens up your mind, frees your spirit, and inspires your creativity! And also, physical work makes your brain relax and later lets your ideas flow easily.

2. Let Your Brain Work Harder!

Try brushing your teeth with the hand you wouldn’ t normally use for example. Simple exercises like these, will improve your brain power. No matter what you do, be it shopping, writing or simply doing your job, you’ ll find your brain will work much better once it has been warmed up and eventually will come up with some new ideas too!

4. Write It Down

Every time you are struck by an idea, draw it or write it down so that you wouldn’ t forget it. Let it mature for some time to eliminate the bad ones and use the brilliant ones for further projects.

5. Take a Walk

Get out there and enjoy the world! Visit the seashore, watch the sun-rise or count the stars! Look at people you see around you, are there any eccentric characters? What situations is life throwing at other people? You’ ll find all these interesting observations will help to fuel the old imagination!

6. Make an Inspiration Board

Display cut-outs, pictures, notes, everything that catches your eye, on a visible place to make you focus and inspired every time you look at it. It will help you create the style for your project or simply come up with more creative ideas.

7. Listen to Music

Music stimulates the part of our brain that controls motor actions, emotions, and also boosts concentration and creativity. Especially good is a classical music like Beethoven or Mozart.

8. Learn from Others

Become part of a group that does something creative you enjoy. When you are with others, you are able to develop your skills better. Also, when you are with friends, you can be sure you’ ll have some fun, and that’ s the most important thing: to enjoy being creative!
