During this project I learnt and improved on many things such as working under pressure, improving my timing skills and the importance of creating a page or concept that is original and unique.

When I was first introduced to the project I knew it was going to be a lot of hard work and I had to be very self motivated in order to complete the project well. I already had a previous knowledge how the sketchbook should be because when completing GCSE art we had to create and put together a similar thing. I realised that it was very important to get organised from the start such as gathering resources like ink, glue and coloured paper. At the end of the week the printer ran out of ink this became a problem as I could no longer add to my sketchbook and needed to stay on top of my work load but I just went out the same day and bought another cartridge. Apart from this no other problems had yet occurred.

I think in the second week I worked really well, and have fully engaged into the project. I really enjoyed doing my about me page as it allowed me to express myself through creativity on the page. Also in the second week we had a chance to explore London, visit the Burberry exhibition and go to Selfridges an liberty's, this allowed us to draw inspiration and be influenced by the stores around us.

As I am going a long I am taking key notes from magazines, documentaries and books to help me with my research. I mainly took notes of influential designers of the era and researched how they impacted the fashion choices of the era. I did set myself a large amount of work in week 3 and at this point I was also working extra hours so to stay on top of it I had to get up early and complete the tasks and also carry on when I came back from work.

I felt really ill during week 4 and came doing with a heavy cold, this limited how much work I could do because I simply did not feel up to it at all. Although , this was a bit of a setback, I created a TO DO list and this allowed me to tick things off as I went along and felt up to it. There was also so many images to organise for Burberry, Liberty and Selfridges pages so this was very time consuming arranging them on a word document ready for printing. Rather than keeping my research and images in a file on the computer I realised it was easier to just add the research and images by the era.

Week 5 was hard, It took its toll on me being ill and I did not stop and rest but was also working during this period, so my work load was flat out. The AD campaign video also took time to plan and put together but because I knew that it was going to be very time consuming I paired up with a peer so we could both share the responsibility.

For my Get the Look video originally I planned to use the one we created in the V&A but when I had a chance to rewatch it, it was very blurry and it was hard to hear what we were all saying. Consequently, I had to create another GET THE LOOK video but again I paired up so we could use both of our ideas and create one video which was effective and clear. At this point, I understood I had left it a bit late to sign up to Joomag and play around with it and understand it but in my class I was one of the first to do so. By following the brief in order I managed to get most of Jedienes work completed and the majority of it was into Joomag and Madelines work could then be started.
