!980s PUNK Get The Look

The Punk Get the look was a modern take on previous trends. Punk was all about showing your individuality and creating something of your own. Leather jackets are a very popular garment today especially black ones. Black was a very dominant color during the 80s, this could be because black is associated with power and evil. Punk fashion was also about heavily accessorizing such as studded bracelets or chokers. Vivienne Westwood was a massive feature in the punk scene during the 80s. She was responsible for making new wave fashions into main stream.
