Keep Your Temple Healthy!
Healthy is when you feel your best without help from drugs, alchol, or caffine!
Healthy is when you are at a level where you can run a few blocks,without losing your breath! Health, takes a lifetime of self discipline, but we are going to try to create healthy habits in about a week:)
Do you think we can do it? I think we can. As of now I am writing to you with my lemon cream cake in hand, with my keebler fudge sticks on the side. However my lunch bag is filled with apples, carrots, and a big salad for lunch. But my boy told me to pack those two extra pieces of poundcake with my cookies, and to take advantage of the candy my friend offered me. At this point you may have figured out that I am not trying to make a point! I am telling the truth! my body is actually CRAVING processed foods! I ate my apples and my carrots and I felt great for it but this sugar high, feels so much better and so much more satisfying.
I am sure you are thinking " What in the world?! , Why didn't she just NOT pack the sweets.?" well I am not that disciplened yet... Obviously. First let me tell you how cravings work... Scientifically, It really JUST happens. Some people do, and some peole don't. I used to think "hey, my body just needs sugar that hypothesis is wrong.... So lets get started. I will be your test subject. Today is November 2nd, 2011. Starting today I will try my best to follow these rules...
Rule #1: I will work out when I wake up and when I go to sleep. Nothing to heavy, Maybe just five reps. of each set?
Rule #2 I will eat a fruit or vegetable everyday. OK, ok. PLENTY of friuts and veggies.
Rule #3 Xnay on the processed foods!
Rule #4 I will only eat 2 ... ok onev sweet thing each day ( not including fruits)
Rule #5 I WILL DRINK TONS OF WATER
Rule #6 When I am craving things that aren't good for me or when I feel like giving up I will pray and ask God to help me to keep his temple healthy and I will ask him to give me strength.
OK Ladies, Those are my rules. and just so you know, this means that I will have to cook dinner. My parents and family do not believe in healthy food:)
ps. Unofficial Rule #7 I'm going to string people along... MWAHAHA;)
