of being and to expect it from or to posit it on the other individuals with whom we come into contact. Finally, this research aims to clarify the relationship between the forms of life and political regimes or governments by showing that both the ideological struggle can and should be understood from the ontological substratum of the conflict between forms of life supported by ethical and propagandistic discourses. I also propose to analyse the role of language in relation to the form of life as a political praxis in which it embodies ideology. The first thing I intend to do is to clarify the concept of being by looking beyond its traditional identification or vehicular relationship with language. The importance of such a task lies in showing the being that we are. A being that is but a form of life, as I claim and I hope would be clearer throughout the upcoming sections. In this last sense, this work presupposes my previous works and seeks to deepen their meaning and expand their scope. However, it is not necessary to be familiar with those works, because in this introduction I try to show their essential aspects in order to understand their connection with the theme of power and politics.
