Dear readers,
We are very excited to be back with the first
issue of the 2014-2015 school year, but the
seventh in total. We welcome our new
members, who started the English preparatory
program this year, onto the Bee Writer team.
We want to respectfully dedicate this issue to
the memory of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who
founded the Turkish Republic.

interviewing a member of the department.
Ahmet Sualp Say, Gizem Sırmalı and Kardelen
Tanışan explore one of Istanbul's hidden gems
the Ataturk Arboretum and wrote their
impressions. It is such a peaceful place that
you will want to visit the museum when you
read the article and see the photos. There are
two scientific articles; one is on Global
Warming written by Veysel Abdullah Tekin
and the other is on 3D printers written by
Yağmur İşeri. Besides, we have culture pieces
about the creation of Hangul, the Korean
characters, presented by İrem Karaoğlu and a
look into an English nation holiday—
