The DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Describes How He Keeps the Yeshiva Campus in Top Form
WHAT DO YOU DO AT THE YESHIVA ?
My mandate is to ensure the Yeshiva ’ s smooth and orderly operation and that it retains an appealing “ tzurah ” befitting a makom Torah of this caliber . I direct the day-to-day work of the maintenance , repair , and security staff , and I order whatever supplies are needed . I also interface with inspectors , such as those from the fire department .

QUESTIONS FOR
5Shlomo Krasnow and most importantly , accommodating the requests of rabbeim , teachers , and principals . We have a beautiful , 10-acre campus with many educational buildings , dorms , and sports fields . I oversee approximately 30 employees and am always on call . With night shifts and summer day camps , this is essentially a 24 / 7 / 365 operation .
CAN YOU GIVE SOME EXAMPLES ?
It runs the gamut from fixing a broken light fixture in a classroom to setting up an auditorium for a special event . I have an office , but I ’ m on my feet much of the day .
D
WHAT IMPRESSES YOU THE MOST ABOUT THE YESHIVA ?
What impresses me the most is the love for the talmidim . And that Rabbi Bender is involved with everything . He is on top of the situation . Aside from my being a staff member , my three sons went through the entire Darchei “ system ,” and I currently have a grandson , my daughter ’ s son , here in Pre-1A .
