State of the Art
One of the most exciting recent additions to the Yeshiva campus is the brand-new , centrallylocated CIJE STEM Center . ( CIJE is the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education ; STEM stands for science , technology , engineering , and mathematics .) The Gruss Life Monument Funds provided the lead gift toward the construction of six new laboratories — three for computer technology and three for the sciences . The home of these gleaming labs is the former Waterview residence hall , which was completely gutted and renovated . The new laboratories are being used by students from grades one through twelve under the guidance of their respective teachers and have already immeasurably enhanced the Yeshiva Darchei Torah / Mesivta Chaim Shlomo educational experience .
