Jewel” of the Yeshiva
The 14th Anniversary Dinner of Kollel Tirtza Devorah, held at
Ateres Chynka in Brooklyn, paid tribute to several honorees who are
intimately involved in the world-changing work of the Kollel, as well
as to the avreichim themselves.
Since 2005, the Kollel has been developing young avreichim into
genuine talmidei chachamim. Currently comprised of 39 full-time
scholars, the majority of them alumni of Yeshiva Darchei Torah,
the Kollel has produced Marbitzei Torah, rebbeim and learned
laymen who are enhancing communities across the United States.
An afternoon kollel mechanchim enables 33 talmidei chachamim,
including rabbeim from various yeshivos, to augment their learning
and teaching with an intensive second seder.
