Come and see us in Llandudno,
Edinburgh or Bristol
Do consider coming along to one of the B&B events
being run by Acumenedge, at which we are managing
the conference sessions: we love meeting members in
person, so welcome you to Llandudno on 2nd November,
Edinburgh on 16-17 November, or to the third B&B Show
in Bristol next year on 22-23 February. See pages 12 & 13
for more and how to register for your free tickets.
In canvassing our members about their dealings with
online travel agencies (OTAs), we’ve found how strong
the feelings are amongst B&B owners about their
very unequal ‘partnerships’ with these huge global
corporations, and how (you say) these are sometimes
abused. We are gathering more evidence on this for the
competition watchdog, the CMA – but meanwhile B&B
owners put it in their own words from p14.
Don’t forget your member benefits: these include 20%
off printing with Vistaprint, and up to 30% off electrical
goods with Hotpoint – and of course our B&B Association
Theatre Club offers (see opposite): much more on the
member pages of our website.
