Daniel was born on September 26, 1950 at Buenos Aires, Argentina. His primary school was in General Urquiza Day School, and his secondary school was in Colegio Nacional Reconquista, both in Villa Urquiza neighborhood where he lived until he was 20 years old. He used to play football and basquetball with his friends. His other hobby was painting. He also learned to play piano for three years at the age of 15.
At the age of 18 he decided to become a doctor because he was inspired by one of his uncles, who was a well known surgeon. Then he started to study at the Medical University of Buenos Aires. He graduated as medical doctor in 1974 and he specialized in surgery, first in the surgical school Enrique Finochieto and later in the surgical service of Rivadavia hospital. His first job was as an emergency surgeon, in 1978.
Today he is head of surgery department at Rivadavia Hospital. He is also a medical university professor in the UBA. He got married with Eduviges at 1975. He has two sons, one daughter (Diego, 1976)(Rodrigo, 1979 )(Veronica, 1981) and now he is grandfather of two girls and two boys (Fiorella, Nicolas, Santiago, Sol, ). He is living four days a week in Buenos Aires city and the rest of the week in pilar near my house.
He is my grandfather and we share a lot of time playing computer games and taking care of the garden, which are our hobbies.
