Aidan Smith ( Ensemble ) Aidan is overjoyed to be performing in his first production at TCR . Recent shows include Heathers ( Ram ), Little Shop of Horrors ( Mr . Mushnik ), and Cinderella ( Prince Topher ). Beauty and the Beast is one of his favorite musicals , and is so excited to be working with such a talented cast and crew . Aidan would like to thank his acting professors , friends , and family for always pushing him to achieve his goals .
Greg Smith ( Maurice ) Beauty and the Beast is Greg ' s 27 th production with TCR and he couldn ' t be happier to play Maurice ! Greg was last seen in Something Rotten ! ( Nostradamus ) and Clue ( Col . Mustard ). He would like to thank his wife ( Marcia ), his parents , in-laws , and four children - as his passion for telling stories wouldn ' t be realized without their support .
Micah Rees ( Ensemble ) Micah is thrilled to be doing his first show with TCR ! He has been in productions in high school and City Circle such as Catch Me If You Can , High School Musical , and Bye Bye Birdie . He is in the ensemble for this show and gives a big thanks to the production team , cast , pit and everyone else who made this show amazing ! Micah is a freshman majoring in Nursing / Pre-Med at the University of Iowa .
Ellen Welch ( Ensemble / Featured Dancer / Assistant Choreographer ) Ellen is excited to be back on the TCR stage ! After receiving her BA in Dance from the University of Iowa , Ellen has been performing around the community and teaching dance at the University of Iowa , various dance studios , and in the Iowa City Community . Previously she has been in TCR ’ s productions of Cabaret ( Fritzie ), Carrie : The Musical ( Ensemble / Dance Captain ), Wizard of Oz ( Ensemble / Dance Captain ), and School of Rock ( Ms . Bingham / Mrs . Travis ), as well as Catch Me If You Can ( Ensemble ) with City Circle Theatre Company . Ellen would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support throughout her performance career !
