orn in Essex County, NJ. Raised by a
single parent and lived in an urban
neighborhood. Life for accomplished
professional, Dee Meadows, was defi-
nitely difficult, at times.

Dee Meadows has worked in several different
professions such as a model, host, human re-
source coordinator, copywriter, manager, para-
legal and even a Taco Bell cashier while in
high school. However, her greatest achieve-
ment has been motherhood. Balancing family
time and a congested work life has been chal-
lenging, but ALWAYS important.
“I have worked pretty much since I was
11 years old; so working is normal for
me. However, trying to make sure that I
put my family first has made me realize
where my priorities lie.”

packed up and started over in Virginia. In
between the years of 2000 and 2008 she got
married and had 2 children. Today, she has 3
children and has been living her best life as a
mother while pursuing her goals as a Boss!
“It has always been my dream to run
my own business and have something
to pass onto my children. I wanted to
start something or be apart of a pro-
ject that would be of great value to not
only my family, but my community as
well.”
After years of trying to work as a free-
lance writer and editor, she has finally
found her passion in what she wants to
do in her “best” life. Currently, Dee
Meadows is a true Renaissance woman.

Since 2008, Dee has been changing the way she
sees her professional life. After going back to
college and working full-time, she had decided
it was time for her to focus on following her
dream as being an entrepreneur. She knew it
would be difficult, nonetheless, she had to keep
pushing.
“At times, when I was working for oth-
ers; I wanted to scream or do some
damage to something . Especially for
those who didn’t value my worth. I
know that sounds crazy, but that is how
frustrated I was because I felt so deplet-
ed.”
She started her own desktop publishing compa-
ny called “WestBuz Services” backed in 1999.
Unfortunately, she had to let it go when she
relocated to Virginia in 2000. Once she decided
that it was time for her to leave New Jersey in
