says owner-chef Domenico Locantore.
With a much larger space than its
previous location, and a décor and
cuisine that transports patrons straight to
Italy, Sole Mio delivers on its promises.
Guests are wowed by a wide selection
of dishes with an extensive wine list; in
fact, there are, what seems like hundreds
of menu items – from salads and pizzas
to main courses and desserts – that
reflect the Turin-born Chef’s more than
20 years of experience and his passion for
good food. “Every time I pull a dish off the menu, there
will be some clients looking for it. So the menu keeps
growing,” he explains.
One of the latest newcomers on the menu – Ravioli
stuffed with baked eggplant and burrata cheese in a
classic pomodoro sauce. Chef Domenico discovered
by chance that the creamy texture of roasted eggplant
pairs perfectly with soft creamy mozzarella cheese. It
hasn’t taken long for the dish to become a hit.
Only the best and freshest ingredients from all over
Italy are featured in the Sole Mio Antipasto, a satisfying
combination of salame, buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes,
tender artichokes, green olives, grilled vegetables and
fried calamari – the perfect appetizer.
For seafood lovers, Cozze Alla Pugliese is a must-try.
