I wish I could say that I decided to wear my hair natural, but in a way natural was my way of letting go of the social stigmas that were put on me, but honestly at the time that I went natural I didn't have this in mind. I was in a low place with my hair at the time I went natural and I was tired of having short, broken, unhealthy hair. I found the natural hair community on YT(YouTube) and began learning that I had a choice. A choice that I never knew I had. The choice to stop the chemical treatments, a choice to stop the damage and a choice to wear my hair in it's naturally beautiful state. I'm very thankful for that choice because now I am able to teach my daughter about how beautiful she is and influence millions of women across the world through my message on embracing your natural beauty!!!
