The originis of our beloved Montreal Bears date back from the very beginning of the now defunct International Sim Hockey League (ISHL).
The Legendary Paul Korczyk founded the Washington Rainiers settled on the Metropolitan Area of Seattle, WA.
The Bid was made the Monday 30th March 2009. The Bid was confirmed April 1st.
The Crest depicted a Seattle Skyline with Mt. Rainier at the bottom inside a circle. A bigger maroon circle with the Team Name and two stars were presented. This last feature is incorporated in the Montreal Bears shoulder patch.
The Colours chosen were Maroon, Gold, Black and White as noticed in the Jerseys.
