I enjoy making up playful and distinctive terms for my components and challenge myself to come up with new novel pieces even though the tried and true ones are popular. I had no idea how popular my torch fired copper enameled “matchsticks” would become! Outside of making jewelry and lampworking I love to travel with my husband and we go on a few adventures every year. I especially enjoy Southeast Asia for it’s color, food and warm weather. My husband is a certified gemologist and archaeologist. I’ve even gotten to volunteer on an important dig in Northern Mexico with him. We are collectors of art, stones and collectibles from all over the world as well but I’m trying to ramp down on that hobby as the collections seem to be taking over! Before I ever got into the jewelry business my main hobby was cooking and I loved experimenting with any number of ethnic foods and it’s not hard to revisit that passion when I’m hungry for something interesting. www.facebook.com/NuminosityBeads www.numinositybeads.etsy.com www.numinosity.etsy.com www.numinositybeads.blogspot.com creativebeadchat.com
