I love all things vintage, buttons, ephemera, hardware, keys and the like and have
been up-cycling them into pieces of jewelry. I came across a vintage dealer whose
shop was in an industrial garage near my
home and while I was poking around saw
these bat wing drawer pulls. I thought
they would make really cool necklaces, all
I would need to do is punch a few holes,
and add a little bling to dress it up! I gave
it a patina with Swellegant, added an old
vintage french watch face, some Swarovski chain and crystals, and old brass chain.
I am really enjoying taking unusual items
and making them into jewelry, it's nice to
see something "unexpected"!
