You have fingers in a lot of pots, that must be pretty difficult to juggle, what keeps you motivated and inspired? If you had the opportunity to lear would you choose? Growing and exploring in different directions keeps me motivated. If I only made beads every day I think I would go a little crazy. I need side projects to keep me sane and balanced. It's also a practical matter, since we support our family with my creative efforts it's smart to have multiple streams of income. I'm thankful for my two assistants that help keep Humblebeads moving along. I'm also an obsessed work-aholic, I can't help myself! If I had time and space, I'd love to natural materials with copper. To stay inspired I connect with nature, I live in a very beautiful place with a lake and woods nearby. I spend time exploring other creative possibilities like drawing and painting. There is a real blur between work and play, for me it's all the same.
