I’m an avid photographer,
albeit not the best but I enjoy
composition and capturing moments.
At the beginning of last year
whilst driving along the coast
road taking in the views an idea
started to formulate...putting
these fantastic landscapes I was
witness to into little ceramic
pendants. I was quite excited by
the idea and much to my other
halves dismay, began making
him pull over on our drives if I
saw an interesting scene. Once
home I went though my many,
many images from Scotland and
I thought would make interesting pendants, cro
planned to sketch out into clay. Using some artis
out designs loosely based on my photographs in
dried out I fired them to bisque, stained the rece
then used stoneware glazes to glaze. I was in lo
results!
