welry You Will Need Polymer clay in your choice of 4 colors [Choose contrasting, colors that are too close in tone are not as distinct. Premo is my preferred brand] Pasta machine Clay extruder Tissue blade Ruler Ceramic tile for baking Wire or old eye pins for bead baking Eye pins or hand formed wire bails for pendants 1. Choose 4 colors of polymer clay. Cut 1/8 block from each square. Starting with the lightest color, knead clay in your hands to warm and soften, pass through pasta machine on thickest setting. 2. Using a circle cutter that is slightly smaller than the diameter of your extruder cut at least 5 circles of each color. Stack the colored circles of clay into a column making sure that similar colors are not right next to one another. Open the extruder all the way and insert the stack into the chamber. 3. Put on the top and choose a shape for your ‘snake’ of clay [ circle and square are best] Extrude the entire chamber of clay into a snake making sure not to twist it. 4.
