Saturday morning, we were hard at work! We learned how to make leaves, flowers, lions, a simple pleated cane, Christi's signature heart..... and the basics of Swellegant and mica powders! And that's just what I can remember! Christi has an excellent teaching style. She brings half of the room up to watch, and then invites the other half, so everyone gets a good look. As she goes along, she also asks the group what THEY really want to learn how to do. She does not have a rigid teaching plan and takes time for each one who has a question. Sometimes as she goes along, she makes a student a small example of something they were curious about...and then gifts them with it! Normally I don't suggest people have something to eat while working on jewelry projects, but with clay....and reasonable caution, covered coffee cups, it's okay! Even my son , Jordan, trie d very hard to keep up wit h the group! His little sta rfish bad! Next to there is not him is Donn a, my sister in law, who ap pears in many of m y videos, an d beside her is Javi, who sh oots and edits th em. creativebeadchat.com
