Junior School Year One IPC Exit Point Mr Thomas Waldron, IPC Coordinator/Year One IPC Teacher Students celebrated their learning in ‘Our world’. After sharing some of their learning through the different subjects, they broke off into groups and went on a Treasure Hunt along with their parents. As well as consolidating the students’ knowledge of their school environment, this activity helps to strengthen one their Personal Goals - ‘Cooperation’. Later, the students worked together with their parents to create a ‘nature’ tile for a mural. First, photos were taken of something natural in the school environment and then these were used to create a tile of art using both natural and reusable materials. The mural, a combination of all the tiles placed together, will showcase and celebrate all of the students’ learning during 'Our world’.
