, and teaching cookie painting classes . I was
eager to learn more and realized after perusing
through her blog and Instagram account for half an
hour ( and just maybe drooling over items like
her lavender blueberry muffins and her Mom ’ s
infamous carrot cake ) that this was someone utterly passionate about baking .
Growing up in Montgomery Alabama ,
Elisabeth began undertaking a serious interest in
baking at the age of 13 . Alongside her Mom and two sisters , she started spending a significant
amount of time in the kitchen , learning the basics
and hand-painting cookies . During her time in
high school and later in college at Auburn University , friends and acquaintances frequently asked her
to create everything from themed cookies ,
birthday cupcakes and wedding cakes . Elisabeth
even remembers leaving her high school
homecoming game early because she had a large order due
the next day . To state her creations are just pretty
and taste good would be an understatement .
After trying one of her cookies and tasting the
buttery dough , the creamy frosting , and the undertones
