It ’ s your last day in SoWal . Let ’ s make the most of it ! Since we ’ ve only seen a small stretch of 30A , today is all about taking in the view . Start your tour in Seagrove Beach . Make a pit stop at Cowgirl Kitchen , where beach meets west on 30A ! Try their turkey , bacon and avocado sandwiches , veggie green chile tacos , meatloaf , shrimp and grits and a “ lick-your-lips ” Bloody Mary ! For a casual , “ islandy ,” yet sophisticated vibe , be sure to pop into Café Thirty A for a fun fine-dining experience . The extensive menu features grilled and fire-roasted seafood , meats and poultry , wood-oven pizza , vegetarian fare and hedonistic desserts . With fine wines and creative cocktails complementing each meal , your taste buds will thank you . Next up is WaterSound , a beach community that will truly take your breath away . Visit Deer Lake State Park , a 200-acre conservation with dreamy dunes ! This beach is great if privacy is what you ’ re looking for . After , visit Eden State Gardens , an extensive garden that surrounds an antebellum residence right off the bayou . The live oaks dripping with Spanish moss are something you won ’ t forget . As you drive through Seacrest Beach and into Alys Beach , you ’ ll notice a common theme — great architecture and white washed homes . Alys Beach is brimming with music and theater . Free public concerts and movies are regularly featured at this beach neighborhood ’ s open amphitheater during
80 the spring and summer months ! One of our favorite places to eat is George ’ s . Here you will find the best burger on 30A , fried oysters , lobster BBQ sliders and hummus . Your belly will leave full and happy !
As dusk falls upon us , your last visit of the day is Rosemary Beach , a beach community named by CNN as one of America ’ s most romantic towns . Stop at La Crema , a perfect place for dining with friends . Imported Barcelona wine , seafood paella , and chocolate fondue are just a few of the amazing dishes this cozy restaurant offers . Take your kids to The Sugar Shak for candy bars , ice cream , and novelty candy galore !
If you ’ re wanting to explore more of SoWal outside of 30A , you won ’ t want to miss Baytowne Wharf , a great place to take your kids for zip lining and games . Don ’ t be fooled — this place is party-central come nightfall , with daiquiris and live music galore !
