Day one

1

Begin your stay in the community of WaterColor with over 500 charming coastal cottages surrounded in a natural Floridian setting . With just a short bike ride to Seaside , WaterColor is the perfect escape for couples and families alike .
You ’ ve settled in and now you ’ re hungry . Your first meal should be memorable ! Wine World in WaterColor offers Mediterranean style food and gourmet cheeses , sandwiches , fire roasted pizzas , and Atlantic salmon . We recommend their charcuterie board with assorted fruit , nuts , olives , salami and fresh baked bread . White or red ? Now you can have both with over 1000 wines from around the world ! Enjoy alfresco dining under string lights and take in the view — the palm trees never get old !
If seafood is what you crave , Stinkys Fish Camp is one for the books ! Known for its great seafood , sit at the bar and start with half a dozen oysters on the half-shell . Don ’ t like raw ? You can get them baked a dozen different ways . For dinner , they change out their fish based on what is fresh , so pick from the catch of the day
or good ole fashioned shrimp and grits . Located right on one of the many dune lakes that make this area so beautiful , and directly across the street from the Dune Allen public beach access , the views are amazing and the valet parking makes getting in and out a breeze .
After dinner , make your way to one of the best places for watching sunsets : Western Lake , a coastal dune lake that ’ s completely picture-worthy . Stand along the bridge and watch the light show of vivid pinks and reds paint the water . Better yet , rent a kayak and anchor down . Don ’ t forget your camera ! Our sunsets are worth remembering .
Just because the sun goes down doesn ’ t mean the party stops ! Bud N Alley ’ s is a great place to enjoy cocktails with friends . It might be the oldest restaurant in Seaside , but don ’ t doubt its innovative drinks ! You can ’ t leave without trying the Seaside Punch : peach , apple , sour , pineapple juice and vodka . For appetizers , their smoked tuna dip is a local legend and there ’ s no question that this restaurant has the best Gulf view in town .
