Nothing says vacation like a mid-day beach cocktail … or maybe a mid-morning cocktail ( we ’ re not judging ). Although we can certainly appreciate a cooler full of 30A beer and some limes , we know that there is a time and a place for everything … and right now , your beach chair , the sunshine , and the sound of the waves crashing … they are all begging for a pink umbrella and refreshing cocktail .
You are on vacation and obviously deserve the best , so that is why we ’ ve decided to share the six best classic beach drinks to be enjoyed on our beautiful Emerald Coast beaches : Classic Mojito , Coconut Grove , Classic Margarita , Mint Julep , Piña Colada , and Whiskey Lemonade . Simple enough to be made before you hit the beach , and kept cold in your cooler , and refreshing enough to drown out everything other than the reggae music coming through your iPhone .
So grab your shaker , your cooler , a mini-straw , and a couple of stainless steel mugs ( leave the glass and disposable plastic at home ) … You are on vacation . You deserve this . It ’ s time to get your cocktail on .
