Reverend Angel Onley-Livingston, M.A., LPC is an intrinsically motivated young woman who has spent the past eight years working in the counseling arena and applied behavior analysis, focusing on the development of youth, women, marriages, and families in the areas of mentoring, career exploration, mental health, substance abuse, and spiritual development. Angel’s educational background is comprehensive with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Coastal Carolina University. She has also completed a Masters in Professional Counseling with a minor in Mental Health from Webster University. She furthered her Spiritual Discernment by completing her first year of requirements of a two year Seminary Degree in Masters of Arts in Religion Program of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. Reverend Onley-Livingston was licensed to preach the gospel in 2007. She was then ordained to the gospel ministry in November of 2011 after completing a 3 year mentorship as an Associate Pastor and Worship and Family Life Minister at Palmetto Miss. Baptist Church. Angel is now an Associate Minister at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she is a member.

Angel was also employed with the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy as the Horry County Community Specialist where she built a network of community partners to implement teen pregnancy prevention programs into their already running programs, developed focused youth groups, and a community action board. Angel founded and provides professional mental health and professional spiritual counseling services through House of Abba LLC. Services range from Assessment, Individual, Family, Youth and Women counseling and focused groups, and referral services to individual church consultation, women’s retreats, and conferences.
Angel gathered a group of women in hopes to start a television show which turned into a budding newsletter publication. She founded Be Made Whole: A Guide to Empower Women to live a life of Wholeness, Wellness, and Holiness, which has finished its first year in publishing a quarterly newsletter and is now a published magazine. Be Made Whole was created to give voice to minority women to discuss mind, body, soul, and spiritual issues in relation to physical health, mental health, and current issues that affect women. Be Made Whole’s vision is to empower women to live a life that is whole. Be Made Whole is a ministry avenue for women to share inspiration, information, data, and opinions with other women in congregations, organizations, and businesses on a local and national platform. My desire is to open up and further the dialogue between the faith communities, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and women about the issues that women face.
