Prepare your stomachs for the next Foodie Friday: Germany!
To celebrate our multi-cultural environment at bChannels, the Project Motivation team has introduced "Foodie Fridays," where we can enjoy not only some great food, but also the culture, the language, the colours, and the spirit of all our countries. Our first event, on 21st June, highlighted the delicious flavours of France!
The whole office dressed up for the occasion, mainly opting for blue stripes, but we did see a few berets around!
Red, blue and white were everywhere-- in balloons, flags and fashion. It was very difficult to choose who'd win "Best Dressed" between Sue and Steph, but ultimately Steph's pink beret helped us declare a winner.
We all learnt a little bit of French. Andrea d’Andrea was even able to translate the bChannels core values to le français, so he won a bottle of wine!
The highlight of our day, though, came at lunchtime. We tasted amazing French dishes prepared by our beloved Frenchie squad:
Pain, Crêpes, Croque Monsieur, Ratatouille, Tarte à la tapenade, Quiche Lorraine, Marbré vanille/chocolat, fromage, saucisson,Tarte citron meringué, clafouti, Tarte Tatin, Amandine, cake aux olives…
As this was a global initiative, the US office had an amazing French breakfast, too. They enjoyed crêpes with different toppings and showed off their stylish stripes. Special mention to Ana Collins and her lovely outfit-- très chic!
