LANDSCAPING: GINKGO GARDENS
element that gives Ginkgo Gardens an element of individuality is
its dedication to giving the client exactly what they want – a
bespoke service. Ginkgo takes the time to get to know each of its
clients and their individual needs which allows it to come up with
bespoke gardening and landscaping solutions that address the
needs of the client.
Ginkgo Gardens continues to prosper and develop as a business with a 20% growth last year as it develops its commercial
landscape presence. As a privately owned company, the business is
not revenue driven and therefore is able to choose the more prestigious developments and projects. The domestic side of the business continues to flourish as the team provides high end quality
installation and
maintenance to London clients. Ginkgo Gardens is one of the
leading Garden Design and Landscape Companies and aims to be
the ‘Best Horticultural Practice’ in the UK. The directors have
high hopes for the future of the business, having recently won The

Origin Housing Award as well as taking on numerous other residential and commercial contracts. With a four million pound
turnover per annum, the business is booming.
There is a lot of opportunity for dynamic growth, especially on
the commercial side of the business. Ginkgo Gardens recently
purchased Clews Lane Nursery in Surrey which will allow it to
further develop its wholesale plant production with the view to
developing a new composting facility to help recycle all the green
waste produced. With plans to expand its regional reach, Ginkgo
Gardens is set to double its annual turnover in the next five years
and be the nation’s ‘go-to’ gardeners for all future projects.
Ginkgo Gardens is going from strength to strength with numerous ongoing projects, new business and repeat customers frequently taking it on for new projects. Recently completed projects
include the Brompton Hospital patients’ garden for NHS, Harrods
Smoking Garden for Harrods and City Road Marketing Suite for
Berkeley Homes. Ongoing projects include the Strawberry Vale
Community Centre for Peabody Estates, Pirbright Institute Surrey
for Pirbright Estate and sports area at Townfield Way, Isleworth
for Notting Hill Housing. Most recently, Ginkgo Gardens has
been commissioned to do a commercial landscape project in 2016
for Brookfield Multiplex at Old Street Yard, London – another
impressive project to add to their portfolio.
