The time has come for Yeshiva Darchei Torah to provide a suitable residence for the bachurim , as well as a bais medrash for the Mesivta boys to call their own .
Yeshiva Darchei Torah was built from the inside out . Before we laid down our first brick in 1997 to expand our campus , the dedicated rebbeim and moros affectionately cultivated an atmosphere of neimus where every child would grow to appreciate himself and aspire to great heights .
Once the neshama of Yeshiva Darchei Torah blossomed and bore fruit , it was time to give the boys an appropriate home . The first building we erected was the Mesivta Chaim Shlomo building in 1997 for our then-fledgling high school . Like the budding B ’ nei Torah it housed , the building was expansive and graceful .
Shortly thereafter , grades nursery through eight outgrew their original quarters . Under the guidance of our outstanding mechanchim , a new complex was engineered , optimized for the best educational experience possible , consistent with Yeshiva Darchei Torah ’ s trademark excellence .
We are now at the cusp of a new juncture . The Mesivta building has reached capacity , serving as home to the burgeoning Mesivta , Bais Medrash and Kollel divisions . Furthermore , on the edge of the campus lies a row of residential houses that serve as makeshift dormitories for the senior talmidim of the Yeshiva . The construction of the new residence hall situated on campus is an important step towards improved security . Furthermore , having their dwelling place in close proximity to the bais medrash will enable the bachurim to focus on their learning with greater clarity .
The time has come for Yeshiva Darchei Torah to provide a suitable residence for the bachurim , as well as a bais medrash for the Mesivta boys to call their own . The Karfunkel Family has graciously sponsored the new bais medrash where the Mesivta boys will be able to mature and grow in their own comfortable space .
One can only imagine how the boys will come to appreciate the pleasantness of Torah - of how they will savor every moment of their formative years because of the vision and magnanimity of this project ’ s underwriters .
Every generation has been blessed with altruistic individuals who distinguished themselves by changing the course of Klal Yisrael for the better . For those who partake in this historic effort , their imprint on the world of Darchei will have compounding rewards for posterity .
