BUNCOMBE COUNTY SCHOOLS PURPOSE,
DIRECTION, AND PRIORITIES
In 2016, Buncombe County Schools (BCS) revised
its Purpose, Direction, and Core Belief statements
for clarity and to reflect current representation
and goals. These revised statements remain in
line with the Four Priorities during the last several
years (stated during the 2011-2012 school year),
as well as the mission and goals of the State Board
of Education.
