Many of us are very fond of imported stuffs. From foods to clothes, we always look up to it that we are already forgetting about are very own products. Not to mention those“ made in( insert country here)” products that we usually buy along bazaars and markets. The price will always be the priority in buying something and quality has lesser importance in the minds of consumers. Just like me, I am really fascinated in buying shoes. Good shoes take you to good places. Absolutely! For whenever I go, shoes will always be a part of my everyday travel. But if you would ask me, I’ d rather buy expensive shoes than a cheaper one because in the long run, the expensive shoes are much cheaper. In relation, I would like to share to you the shoe capital in the Philippines- MARIKINA!
The Marikina Shoe Gallery found at Riverbanks Center offers great deal of affordable, branded and quality Marikina-made shoes that you’ ll surely love. It is also home to the world’ s biggest shoes certified by the Guinness Book of World Records which was made of genuine leather and upper lining and took 77 days to finish.
In addition, is the Patio del Zapateros located along JP Rizal St. in San Roque, Marikina where you can find the best of the best shoes at affordable price. Docksides / Topsiders can be bought for Php 650 to Php 700, while black leather shoes for school and office are priced from Php 900 to over a thousand, depending on design and materials used. Ladies can also find sandals and shoes with prices ranging from Php 150 to over a thousand. Other shops that offer best footwear products in Marikina are C- Point found at Concepcion Uno, across C-point is Mico Angelo, Marikina Shoe Trade Center and City Hall Quadrangle located at Marikina Sports Center. Among all those imported shoes, indeed, Marikina shoe industry is still the best. Atin‘ to eh!
