It’s a little bit puzzling sometimes thinking about the message of our fashion senses. We have our own styles; some of these are brought about by Western and Korean influences. We have the mentality that if we follow them “WE ARE IN”. Well, probably that’s right but can we set aside those foreign power? Look at where you are now. How are you going to showcase the “Nationalism” part of yourself?

Stand up! Go fetch your things and try these proudly Filipino-style shoes and flip flops. It actually doesn’t matter to be so decorative because we all know that Pinoys are born to be simple and naturally gorgeous. What matters the most is that we can let somebody see how imaginative a Filipino can be in mixing up Fashion and Nationalism.

Photos shown above are those that we can try; all are locally designed yet elegant. The shoes and flip flop with Philippine flag style, and the graceful high-heeled shoes made up of abaka can add up to your lists.

Walk around dear Fashionistas!! Be proud of our country. Exhibit the sense that will make you truly Filipino.
