Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2017
Paint 360 Limited
Ticking the Right Boxes
Paint360 re-engineer waste paint back into brand new paint, collecting waste paint from hazardous
waste management companies, councils and contractors, increasing recycling rates and delivering a
true closed loop service to their clients.
Each paint product has been developed in conjunction with professional decorators and saves
huge volumes of embedded carbon compared to virgin paint (run a transit van FIVE miles carbon
free for each litre applied) while competing on quality and price with premium brands.
The core of their workforce have been trained in house with a strong focus on helping
disadvantaged young long term unemployed through our factory, helping 36 young people to date
employing 19.
2016 was a very successful year for Paint360 and they are delighted to have won the Virgin Voom
Impact Award, Interserve and SHIFT Sustainable Supplier of the Year.
PPG (Architectural Coatings UK & Ireland)
Community Engagement Programme
At PPG they are enormously proud of their affiliation with the BCF and of the comprehensive
CSR programme they operate within their business. It would give them great pleasure to be
selected for this prestigious award which would enable them to celebrate both internally, with their
great people who donate their generous time and effort, as well as externally with each and every
organisation or group who has helped to make their programme possible.
